Our hotel and marina is accessible only by a 5-minute boat ride from the bustling little town of Rio Dulce. This hotel offers the perfect mix of accessibility and seclusion. Playa Blanca 

 

One of the most beautiful beaches in eastern Guatemala with white sand beaches, sun and palm trees. The perfect place to relax and enjoy the sun.

El Boqueron 

 

El Boqueron is a humid subtropical forest which is reachable from a newly paved road. Some of the main attractions include giant rock walls and a gorgeous, crystalline canyon navigable by canoe.

Siete Altares  

 

3 miles (5 km) northwest of Lívingston are the freshwater falls and pools of Los Siete Altares. The seven waterfalls and natural fresh water pools, are set within a lush rainforest and are a pleasant place to spend the afternoon.

Finca Pariaso

 

Finca Pariaso is a geothermal hot waterfall which mixes with the San Antonio River underneath.

Denny’s Beach

 

Located on Half Moon Beach, on the shore of Lake Izabal, Denny’s Beach Resort offers a private dock and beach area and a range of free outdoor activities including kayaking, beach volleyball, basketball and private hiking trails. At an extra cost, you can also book wake boarding lessons, horse riding and other tours. 

Livingston River Tour 

 

     Take a 1 hour boat trip down the river, through the lush jungle canyons towards the Caribbean Sea where you will find beauty and adventure, straight out of a Tarzan movie. Visit Playa Blanca, a beautiful beach with incredible views or hike up Siete Altares, a series of cascading waterfalls through lush green forest. The town of Livingston offers culture and beauty, as well as the local Tapado,  (coconut seafood soup) or  fresh homemade coconut buns. This trip offers unforgettable culture, cuisine, nature and adventure!

Sunset Sailboat Tours

 

Enjoy a sailing adventure through Lake Izabal, around the 17th century San Felipe castle, overnight adventures to lush jungle waterfalls or through the limestone jungle canyons towards the Caribbean Sea. San Felipe Castle

 

The San Felipe Castle is a 17th century Spanish fort strategically situated on the narrowest point in the river to protect inner Guatemala from the Caribbean. During it's occupation it was destroyed and looted by pirates several times and is now a popular tourist destination in the area

Sailing Lessons

 

Enjoy a hands-on sailing experience, one on one, captain and firstmate. Choose a one hour course, or a one-week course, either way you will sail forward with experience and knowledge navigating the sails.
